Pinwheel Biscuit
Great for unexpected guests. Easy to make and bake.Can be served with tea or drinks.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup Mozzerella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fine lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 package frozen spinach,
How To:
Place an ungreased paper on baking sheet. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Thaw pastry sheet and spinach at room temperature. Drain the spinach well. Mix egg and water in a small bowl. Mix mozzerrella cheese, parmesan cheese, onion, lemon peel, nutmeg and garlic powder in a medium size bowl.
Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Brush with the egg mixture. Top with the cheese mixture and spinach. Starting at short side, roll up the pastry.
Cut into thin slices(about 1/2 inch) Brush the rounds with egg mixture. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm .
