Cranberry Hazelnut Cookies
Cranberry cookies are easy to cook and they taste delicious. These soft, fruit & nut biscuits are sure to be a family favourite. Sometimes I prefer a pure, simple cookie and this is one of them. The ingredients I used here are simple. Nothing out of the ordinary and they will look undercooked for sure. Worth trying!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1,5 tablespoon cold water
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- slivered hazelnuts
How To:
Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl mix flour, butter vanilla, salt and sugar until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal; Add cold water to the mixture. You might need to get your hands in at this stage to bring the mix together as a dough.
Tip in the dried cranberries. Knead. Roll out dough on floured surface 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with any cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Brush lightly with water and sprinkle with slivered hazelnuts.
Bake 18-20 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks and then transfer to a serving dish.
Bon Apetit!
